AGP Wins Big at Blockbuster Awards Part 1

Avant Garde Productions is celebrating a victory with its client, the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues, over their recent Blockbuster award win for Most Improved Publication for their magazine Credit Union Digest. In second quarter of 2007, Avant Garde created a new design strategy and art direction for the League's already-lauded publication, resulting in this prestigious win and an enthusiastic response from their readership.

This first place Blockbuster Award was given at the recent American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL) 2008 PR/Communications Conference in Washington, D.C. The Pro/Blockbuster Awards, presented by AACUL, are awarded for excellence in public relations, marketing, and advertising by state credit union leagues and league service corporations.

Avant Garde Productions Principal Paul J. Bean commented, "Our partnership with the League has been a very rewarding one and we're happy to have played an instrumental role in the new look and direction of Credit Union Digest. Not only has it raised the bar for industry publications, but it received a 94 percent approval rating in a recent member survey. That level of response is phenomenal."

This year's conference turned out to be a stellar event for Avant Garde and the League. In addition to the Blockbuster Award for Best Campaign Blockbuster Award, the League, supported by Avant Garde, also brought home a First Place Blockbuster Award for Best Campaign (<$10,000 budget) for the 2007 Big Valley Educational Conference Campaign.
